KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Denver women's soccer senior forward Natalie Beckman has been named to the United Soccer Coaches' Scholar All-America Second Team, the USC announced Thursday.
 
Last week, Beckman became the first Denver women's soccer student-athlete to earn CoSIDA Academic honors in multiple seasons, earning second team honors in the spring and first team honors this fall.
 
Beckman has a 3.98 grade point average in mathematics and psychology, and is coming off a campaign that saw her finish second in the country in assists (18) and assists per game (0.86). The Denver senior's assist mark was both the program record and the Summit League record and carried the Denver, Colo., native to the career assists program record as well with 47. Beckman played and started in all 21 matches for the Pioneers this season, finishing with 28 points on five goals and 18 assists. She was named the Summit League Offensive Player of the Year for the second-consecutive season.
