DENVER -The Denver Pioneers men's tennis team rose one spot to 33^rd in the latest Oracle ITA Division I rankings, the Crimson & Gold's highest mark since the team was ranked 25^th in 2010. 
 
The Pioneers did not play last weekend, but will travel to New Mexico for a match on Friday, March 12 at 12 p.m. MT. Denver is 7-2 on a seven-game winning streak after falling to ranked competition in No. 6 TCU and No. 12 Wake Forest at the ITA Kick Off in late January. James Davis leads the Pioneers with a 7-1 singles record and 5-0 mark at #2. Davis and partner Matt Summers have a team-best 5-3 record at #1 doubles.
 
Denver was tabbed 35^th in the nation last February before the 2020 season came to an end in March. The Pioneers have eight matches left in the regular season, including their entire five-game conference slate.
