DENVER - Britt Pursell of the Denver Pioneers women's tennis team was named Summit League Player of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Pursell won her singles and doubles match in Denver's 4-0 sweep of Utah last weekend. The Oceanside, California native defeated Anastasia Goncharova 6-2, 6-3 at #3 singles and Pursell/
Camille Verden-Anderson topped Emily Dush / Madeline Lamoreaux 6-1 at #1 doubles. She is 6-2 at #3 singles and 6-1 in doubles with a 2-0 mark at #1.
UP NEXT: Denver is set to return to the court on Sunday, March 14 at Western Illinois.
