DENVER – The No. 32 Denver Pioneers men's tennis team looks for its eighth straight win on Friday, March 12 at New Mexico.
Denver's winning streak started with a 6-1 win at Air Force on Jan. 29 and has recently included back-to-back sweeps against the Falcons and Metro State on Feb. 27 and March 1. Senior
James Davis leads the Pioneers with a 7-1 singles record and 5-0 mark at #2. He and senior partner
Matt Summers have a team-best 5-3 record at #1 doubles.
Entering this weekend, Davis is on a six-match singles winning streak, while Summers and freshman
Peter Sallay have each won five straight. Denver is 7-7 all-time against New Mexico. The Pioneers did not play last weekend.
