Denver fell behind in its first round match-up 41 seconds in, but Nerea Arrazola made a career high eight saves and the Pioneers got a first half equalizer from Sami Feller and second half goals from Sydney Sharp and Kaitlyn Glover to secure a 3-1 victory for the Pioneers first NCAA Tournament win since 2012.

• Kaitlyn Glover has scored six career goals, including four game-winners that included the 2019 and 2020 Summit League regular season titles, the 2020 Summit League Semifinal and the 2020 Summit League Final. Glover also scored in the NCAA First Round on Tuesday.
• Natalie Beckman has 61 career points, moving into a tie with Kristin Warren for 12^th in Denver's Division I history.
  • Beckman is also fourth in career assists with 29
  • 3^rd in single-season assists with 13
• Sami Feller is 10^th in Denver's DI history in career points with 67
  • Feller's 26^th goal on Tuesday moved her into a tie with volunteer assistant coach Katie Hooker (Antongiovanni) for eighth in Denver's DI record book.
