Denver Signs Syracuse Transfer Alex Marino

Nationally ranked recruit out of high school comes to Denver with three years of eligibility still remaining

DENVER – The University of Denver women's lacrosse program has signed former Syracuse attack Alex Marino to the 2022 roster, head coach Liza Kelly announced on Tuesday.
 
Marino played in eight game across two seasons for the Orange, scoring a goal, forcing a turnover and picking up a draw in her Syracuse career.


 
The Reisterstown, Md., native was an Under Armour All-America selection in high school and was the 34th ranked recruit by Inside Lacrosse in her freshman class. As a team captain as a senior, Marino scored 51 goals and added 23 assists to finish her high school career with 372 points on 206 goals and 166 helpers.
 
Marino also played field hockey in high school.
