DENVER – The University of Denver women's soccer program will play its only preseason match of the 2021 campaign on Saturday with a trip down I-25 to Colorado College. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. MT.
While the result will not count towards Denver's regular season record, it will count towards the 2021 Colorado Cup Standings, a tournament capped off with a triple header at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium on August 22.

For the 2021 season, the University of Denver announced the creation of a new DU soccer fan club called "Denver FC". Fans that purchase the Denver FC package will get season tickets to all Denver men's and women's soccer home games, a Denver FC scarf and a season parking pass for all Denver Soccer home events.

Denver's Colorado Cup Schedule
August 14 at Colorado College (7 p.m. MT - Exhibition for Regular Season)
August 19 Air Force (7 p.m. MT)
August 22 Colorado State (2:30 p.m. MT)
Denver is coming off a 17-3-1 spring campaign and a 14-1-1 mark in the double-round robin Summit League regular season. The Pioneers won both the league regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since reaching the round of 16 in the 2012 campaign.
Series History:
The Pioneers are 6-6-1 against Colorado College at the DI level, having lost each of the last three to the Tigers. Denver's last win against CC was a 2-1 overtime victory in 2013 and the one prior to that was an NCAA Tournament win over Colorado College on the program's way to the 2012 Round of 16.

Denver will open the regular season with its second of three Colorado Cup matches, hosting Air Force at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium on Thursday, August 19 at 7 p.m. MT.
