DENVER – The [12/12] University of Denver men's lacrosse program will close out its 2022 preseason when it hosts [19/15] Johns Hopkins on Saturday at 11 a.m. MT at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.
Denver returns 68 goals and 34 assists from its top two returning point getters in Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans
Alex Simmons and
Jack Hannah. Faceoff specialist
Alec Stathakis was Denver's third preseason All-America pick recognized by Inside Lacrosse earlier this month.
The 2022 Pioneers are captained by Hannah, midfielder
Ted Sullivan and pole
Adam Hangland.
UP NEXT: Denver will open its 2022 season at Utah on February 5 at 1 p.m. MT. The Pioneers will then return to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium to take on Air Force on February 12 at 12 p.m. MT.
