PREVIEW: Denver Takes Winning Streak on the Road at Houston Christian

Pioneers looking to continue best start in D-I era

DENVER  – The University of Denver Men's Basketball team puts its four-game winning streak on the line with a road contest at Houston Christian on Thursday. The game is set for 6 p.m. MT and can be seen on ESPN Plus.

Series History
• This is the fourth meeting in the all-time series.
• The Pioneers hold a 3-0 advantage.
• The two teams last met on Nov. 21, 2021, a 74-61 victory in Hamilton Gymnasium.
 
Last Time Out
• The Pioneers continued their winning ways, going 3-0 at the Big Easy Classic down in New Orleans.
• Denver had four players average over 13.0 points per game during the Thanksgiving MTE in Tyree Corbett (15.0), Tevin Smith (14.5), Tommy Bruner (14.3) and Justin Mullins (13.7).
• Tyree Corbett had his best collegiate game against The Citadel, going for 30 points and 12 rebounds.
