Denver Hosts Northern Arizona and Nebraska This Weekend

The Pioneers close out three-match homestand this weekend

DENVER – The University of Denver men's tennis program will wrap-up a three-match homestand this weekend when the Pioneers welcome Northern Arizona (Friday/5 p.m. MT) and Nebraska (Sunday/1:30 p.m. MT) to the Denver Tennis Park.

Last Time Out:
The Pioneers dropped a 4-3 match to Utah in their home opener at the Denver Tennis Park last Friday. FULL RECAP

Series History:
Northern Arizona: Denver holds a 3-2 edge over Northern Arizona in the Division I series history. The Pioneers won three-straight between 2001 and 2008 before the Lumberjacks defeated Denver 4-3 at the Denver Tennis Park in March of 2019.

Nebraska: The Pioneers are 5-10 against Nebraska, dropping each of the last two matches against the Huskers. Denver won three of the first five meetings between the two programs in 2001-2008. Nebraska has taken seven of the last eight match-ups, but this is the first meeting between the two programs at the DTP.

UP NEXT: Denver has just one match next weekend as the Pioneers head to Air Force Friday, February 11 at 5:30 p.m. MT.
