Progressive Half Court Shot Contest
The promotion is open to currently enrolled University of Denver students ONLY and each potential contestant must register prior to the game. A contestant will be selected at random prior to halftime of the game in which the promotion will take place. Once a contestant is selected, they will be briefed on the full rules and regulations of the contest prior to their participation.Â
 Â
For an eligible contestant to successfully win the $5,000 they must make a layup, free throw, three-point shot, and half-court shot in under 30 seconds. The proper order of shots must begin with a made layup and the contestant must start from the half-court line prior to making the layup. Once a successful layup is made, the contestant may move on to the free-throw shot as moving on to the next shot in the sequence is not allowed until a successful preceding shot is made.Â
 Â
There are no limits to the number of attempts taken on the shots except for the half-court shot. For the half-court shot, the contestant will have only one (1) attempt. Additionally, contestants must retrieve their own rebounds, including on-made shots.Â
