Rosie Casali, who scored a near-perfect 9.975 in competing her upgraded Yurchenko 1.5 for the first time in college and winning the first event title of her career.
Â
EYE ON THE RANKINGS:
DU moved up one spot in the Road to Nationals rankings to No. 8 while adding top-16 rankings on all four events. Denver jumped 14 spots in the vault rankings following its record-setting performance at Michigan and is now tied for No. 7 in the nation. DU also retained a top-five ranking on beam.

Â
QUICK HITS:
- Denver captured two of the three weekly Big 12 Conference awards with Casali earning Big 12 Gymnast of the Week honors and freshman Mila Brusch collecting the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week award.
- With her vault at Michigan, Casali joins graduate student Lynnzee Brown and junior Rylie Mundell in scoring a 9.975+ at least once in her career. Brown owns four perfect 10.0s and 12 more 9.975s across three events, and Mundell has three 9.975s across bars and beam.
- DU is in the middle of a six-meet streak against Power-5 opponents after facing Big Ten teams Penn State and Michigan in the first two meets of the season.
- Denver's 197.200 at Michigan ties the second-fastest 197+ score in DU history, coming in the second meet of the year. It is behind only 2022's 197.000 in the season opener.
- Saturday marks Denver's return to Corvallis, the site of its 2019 NCAA Regional team championship.
