PREVIEW: Pioneers Close Out Regular Season on Senior Day Saturday

Denver hosts Omaha at 3 p.m. in Hamilton

DENVER - The University of Denver men's basketball team closes out the regular season on Saturday, hosting Omaha on Senior Day in Hamilton Gymnasium. Tip is set for 3 p.m. MT and can be seen on Altitude. 

Senior Day Presentation 
• The Pioneers will honor five seniors 20 minutes before tip off. 
Marko Lukic, Korey Hess, JaVonni Bickham, Lukas Kisunas and manager JR Brandin will be honored in front of friends and family in the presentation. 

About Denver
• The Pioneers average 72.8 points per game this year, fifth in the Summit League.
• Denver is allowing 75.3 points per game this season, ninth in the Summit League.
• DU shoots 48.6 percent from the field in 2022-23, first the Summit League and 15th in the NCAA.
• Denver is holding opponents to 44.9 percent shooting, fifth in the Summit League. 
• The Crimson and Gold rank first in the Summit League at getting to the line, attempting 22.7 free throws per game, 20th in the NCAA.

• With the two wins against the Coyotes, the Pioneers picked up a regular season sweep against them for the first time since 2015-16.
