PREVIEW: Pioneers Host Tommies on Saturday

Denver looking for season split in series

DENVER - The University of Denver men's basketball team looks to build on Thursday night's success as it hosts St. Thomas on Saturday in Hamilton Gymnasium. The game is set to tip off at 4 p.m. MT. 

About Denver
• The Pioneers average 73.4 points per game this year, fourth in the Summit League.
• Denver is allowing 75.1 points per game this season, ninth in the Summit League.
• DU shoots 49.3 percent from the field in 2022-23, first the Summit League and 10th in the NCAA.
• Denver is holding opponents to 44.8 percent shooting, fourth in the Summit League. 
• The Crimson and Gold rank first in the Summit League at getting to the line, attempting 23.4 free throws per game, 12th in the NCAA.
• Denver is making 16.4 free throws per game, first in the Summit League and 19th in the NCAA.
