Morsy and Opalka Break Platform Diving School Records

Morsy earned a pair of NCAA Zone cuts on the platform on Saturday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Denver men's and women's divers were in action for the final day of the 2023 Air Force Diving Invite. Zyad Morsy and Zora Opalka both broke school records on the platform Saturday afternoon.  
 
Opalka started the day with a school record in the prelims, taking eighth with a 209.00. A couple of hours later, Opalka broke her own record with a 216.00 to finish fifth in the event.
 
In the afternoon session, Morsy finished fourth in the prelims with an NCAA Zone Diving Cut and school record score of 325.90. Morsy went on to finish seventh in the event finals.
