DENVER – The No. 6 Denver Pioneers women's lacrosse team comes back home to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium this week as DU hosts Niagara on Thursday at 4 p.m. MT and Delaware on Monday at 11 a.m. MT. Niagara and Delaware will play a neutral-site game against one another at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium on Saturday at 1 p.m. MT.

Tickets are on sale now for Thursday and Monday's games, while the Saturday neutral-site contest is free admission.

Denver's two games will both be broadcast on Pioneer Vision.

The Pioneers are coming off their second top-five win in program history--and their first away from home--as Denver knocked off No. 5 Maryland for the first time in program history on Sunday in College Park. Denver used a 7-1 run in the middle stages of the game to take a 7-3 lead. Lauren Black scored twice and Julia Gilbert netted a hat trick in the run. Ellie Curry, who made it 4-3 in the middle of the second quarter, added her second on the eventual game-winner with six minutes to play in regulation. Curry was named Big East Midfielder of the Week, While Gilbert was recognized as both the Big East Attacker of the Week and IWLCA National Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

Sam Thacker led the third-ranked scoring defense in the country with three of Denver's 11 caused turnovers against Maryland. Trinity McPherson had a big day around the draw circle, possessing five draw controls for the Pioneers.

Denver won the only previous meeting against Niagara by a score of 21-10 at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium in 2018. The Pioneers are 1-4 all-time against Delaware, and will meet Denver head coach Liza Kelly's alma mater for the first time since 2013 on Monday.
