DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team will begin its 2023 fall schedule at the Bedford Cup in the Mountains, hosted by the Air Force Academy, on September 14-17.
Joining Denver and Air Force will be Boise State, BYU, Colorado State, Idaho, Idaho State, Montana State, New Mexico, Utah State and Wyoming.
The tournament will feature double-elimination singles and doubles draws.
2023 BEDFORD CUP ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE
Thursday, September 14
10:00 a.m. – Doubles round of 32, followed by doubles round of 16
Friday, September 15
9:00 a.m. – Doubles quarterfinals
10:00 a.m. – Singles round of 16, followed by singles quarterfinals
Saturday, September 16
9:00 a.m. – Doubles semifinals
10:00 a.m. – Singles quarterfinals
Sunday, September 17
9:00 a.m. – Doubles finals
10:00 a.m. – Singles finals

Draws will be available no later than the evening of Wednesday, September 13.
Denver is coming off winning its ninth-straight Summit League title and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the ninth year in a row. DU returns six student-athletes from the 2022-23 season including graduate student
Britt Pursell, while also welcoming two newcomers in freshman
Karsyn Evans and sophomore transfer
Alice Otis.
