DU Women’s Tennis Claims No. 37 Spot in ITA Rankings

Denver heads into March with 7-4 record, begins Summit League play on Saturday

DENVER – The University of Denver women's tennis team (7-4, 0-0 Summit) is ranked No. 37 in the ITA Computerized Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point, released on Tuesday.
 
DU is 7-4 through the first seven weeks of the dual season and owns four wins over Power-5 opponents in No. 41 Utah, No. 50 Oregon, No. 58 Kansas State and No. 66 Iowa.
 
Singles and doubles rankings are not updated this week and will be released again next Tuesday, March 6.
 
The ITA Division I Women's Collegiate Tennis Rankings recognize the top 75 teams (out of 311), 125 singles players and 60 doubles teams at the NCAA Division I level.
 
The University of Denver women's tennis team will begin Summit League play at St. Thomas on Saturday, March 2, before playing at Minnesota on Sunday, March 3.
