DENVER – The University of Denver men's lacrosse program has moved up to seventh in both the USILA Coaches' Poll and the USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll on Monday.
Denver began the season 15
th in the coaches poll before knocking off [6/5] Johns Hopkins 13-12 in overtime last Saturday at Homewood Field.
Graduate student
JJ Sillstrop scored the final four goals of the game and netted his first career sock trick in the victory to earn "The Lacrosse Network" National Player of the Week honors. The Pioneers outscored Hopkins 6-1 in the final 17 minutes of play.
