DENVER – University of Denver tennis player Caroline Driscoll was named the TicketSmarter Summit League Women's Tennis Peak Performer of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
 
The DU sophomore won all four of her combined singles and doubles matches over the weekend and captured the clinching points for Denver against two Power-5 opponents in Kansas State and Iowa.
 
In doubles with partner Louise Wikander, she also helped clinch the doubles point for DU in both matches, scoring 6-3 and 7-5 wins, respectively. In both of her singles matches, she started with bagel sets – her first of the season – and eventually captured wins in the third set to secure Denver's overall team victories.
 
This is the first Peak Performer of the Week nod for Driscoll in her career and the second for a DU player this season after her doubles partner Wikander earned it for Week 2.
 
She joins Denver men's player Nicolas Herrero Cuesta in winning this week's Peak Performer honors, giving DU a sweep of the tennis awards for the first time since March 28, 2023.
 
The University of Denver women's tennis team (4-2, 0-0 Summit) heads to back on the road with a trip to the Pacific Northwest, taking on Portland in a neutral-site match on Saturday, February 10, before playing at Oregon on Sunday, February 11.
