DENVER - University of Denver rising sophomore
Hamish McLellan finished the 100 fly in 54.50 to take 19
th in the prelims at the 2025 Australian Swimming Trials at the SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre.
McLellan's time was a personal best, improving on his seed time by 0.72 seconds.Â

In his first season with the Pioneers, McLellan was named the Summit League Men's Swimming and Diving Newcomer of the Championship after being a part of three winning relays and finishing second in the 100 fly and 100 free and third in the 50 free. During the 2024-25 collegiate season, McLellan's best time in the 100 fly was a 47.39, making him the fifth-fastest swimmer in the event in program history.
