DENVER – The University of Denver women's soccer team has revealed its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2025 season to complete the team's match slate, head coach Julianne Sitch announced on Thursday.
 
Denver is set to play 10 matches against non-conference opponents, four of which will be held at University of Denver Soccer Stadium. The matches are in addition to DU's Summit League schedule, which was announced in May and features four more home matches.
 
DU will begin the 2025 season with four consecutive road matches before finally hosting its home opener against Texas A&M on August 28. Four of Denver's final six non-conference matches will be held at University of Denver Soccer Stadium.
 
Three times this season, Denver will host doubleheaders between its men's and women's soccer teams: August 28 (women vs. Texas A&M; men vs. San Diego), August 31 (women vs. Southern Utah; men vs. SIUE) and September 14 (women vs. Colorado State; men vs. Mercer).
 
Additionally, the Pioneers will host two exhibition matches in August. Fans are invited to attend both exhibitions for free.

Half of Denver's non-conference opponents are from Power-4 conferences: Baylor, Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado from the Big 12; and Texas A&M from the SEC. DU's first exhibition match is also against a Power-4 opponent in Texas Tech (Big 12).
 
In total, Denver will face off against sevevn opponents that finished last season ranked inside the top 100 in the final RPI: Colorado (No. 50), Arizona (No. 62), Texas A&M (No. 65), Baylor (No. 70), South Dakota State (No. 83), Colorado State (No. 85) and Seattle (No. 100). Additionally, the RPI's No. 41 Texas Tech will again play in Denver for an exhibition match. Denver finished 2024 ranked No. 87 in the final RPI.
 
Four of Denver's fellow Division-I teams from the state of Colorado appear on the Pioneers' schedule in Air Force, Colorado, Colorado State and Colorado College. A fifth Colorado team in Northern Colorado is also on the calendar for Denver's second exhibition match.
 
The Pioneers will enter the 2025 season seeking their fifth Summit League title and a 13^th trip to the NCAA National Championships.
