DENVER -- The University of Denver women's lacrosse team moved up to No. 17 in the IWLCA Week 2 Coaches Poll after wins over USC and Arizona State in its opening weekend. 

The Pioneers defeated USC, 15-4, on Thursday night in their home opener, followed by a decisive 14-7 win over Arizona State on Sunday.
