Collegiate national champion Kelly Wetteland of Arizona won the race and was joined on the podium by the legend Gwen Jorgensen in second and U of A teammate Margareta Vrablova in third.
Beginning with an in-water start, the course began with the athletes doing a one and one-quarter rectangular loop of 750 meters in the Ben Jones Yacht Harbor before heading into transition at the adjacent park. The 20K bike was a straight, two-lap, out-and-back course on the road beside the beach on the eastside. The 5K run was two laps that featured out-and-backs at the end of two nearby fishing piers.
This was the final collegiate race of Denver's 2025-26 campaign. The spring season began on Feb. 28 and March 1 at Tritonman in San Diego, California.
