Played in 56 career matches, starting 29 of them…Tallied three career assists in 2816 minutes of action in his time in one of the best defenses in college soccer over the last four years…Part of a senior class that finished 61-12-10, recording the fifth-most wins in the country over the four-year span, while recording the second-highest points-won rate in the country at 77.5%....Won seven Summit League trophies in his career, helping the program to its first College Cup appearance in 2016, and turning in the top grade point average in the country each of the last three years.
2018:
Played in 14 matches, starting four of them…Saw 478 minutes of action… Part of a Denver defense that finished 19th in the country in goals against average (.725) and 12th in shutout percentage (.524)…Tallied an assist in Denver’s season opener against Monmouth and in the Pioneers Summit League win over Western Illinois. …Also part of a defense that allowed two shots on goal or less in nine matches.
2017:
Played and started in 19 matches in Denver’s back four, seeing 1559 minutes of action… Played on a Denver back-four that allowed just 54 shots on goal for an average of 2.84/per game…Denver’s defense combined for a 0.76 goals against average.
2016:
Made 10 appearances in Denver’s back-four, including earning the start at Butler (10/10). Saw 289 minutes of action.
2015:
Appeared in 13 matches making five starts at left back…Played 490 min…Tallied one assist against Utah Valley (9/20)...Played left back in a Denver back four that allowed a 0.40 goals against-average, kept a 0.63 shutout percentage (12 clean sheets), and allowed just 2.5 shots on goal per game.

Franks on Samkange:
Tosh has all the intangibles that a center-back needs and after having him on campus, we were ecstatic to add his character to our locker room. He is a competitor and a winner that brings the best out of his teammates. We will encourage him to be more vocal and take on more of a leadership role early in his career, but it’s because we believe that he is more than capable of doing it. His pace, athleticism, and ability to tackle will make him compete for a spot right away.
McCormick on Samkange:
Tosh is a hardnosed defender who is committed to helping the team win any way that he can. He makes the game tough on opposing attacking players and is someone you don’t want to play against. He is a stand up kid with great character who will be a leader by example whether it is on or off the field.
