Career:
Played in 28 matches, starting 24 of them. Scored a goal and had two assists in her Pioneer career in 1509 minutes of action.

2021:
Played in seven matches, starting five at outside back…Had a goal and an assist in Denver’s 5-0 win against Air Force on August 19…Suffered a season ending injury in Denver’s win against Northern Arizona.

2020 (delayed to 2021 due to COVID-19):
Played in all 21 matches, starting 19 at outside back…Assisted the Sami Feller game-winner in the 25^th minute on March 21 at North Dakota.

2019 (at Colorado):
Played in all 22 matches and started in four of them for the Buffs in her sophomore season…She handed out two assists on the season including one against Northern Colorado in the NCAA Tournament…Kinsbury played 806 minutes on the season..

2018 (at Colorado): 
Played in 18 matches in her rookie season, totaling 471 minutes...She totaled four points on the season, netting one goal and two assists...Her goal in the 40th minute against Denver proved to be the game-winner...She picked up an assist on CU’s fourth goal in the Buffs 4-1 win over Oregon.

OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM: 
Kingsbury was a member of the ODP regional camp multiple times and was an ODP finalist in 2014.

HIGH SCHOOL: 
Kingsbury graduated from Windsor High School in 2018 and was a four-year letterwinner. She was named Class 4A State Player of the Year as a senior after tallying 35 goals and 25 assists in just 20 games, leading Windsor to the state championship with a hat trick in the championship game against Valor Christian, and a 19-0-1 overall record for the season. She was named all-state all four years and was the conference player of the year as a junior and senior. She had 10 goals and 14 assists as a junior. Kingsbury led Windsor to the state tournament each year, reaching the semifinals the first three seasons before the title as a senior as she finished her career with 86 goals and 71 assists in just 74 games. An outstanding all-around athlete, she also lettered in basketball and track, qualifying for state as a sophomore and junior, and finishing fourth at the state meet in the 100-meters as a sophomore when she ran a personal-best 12.31. She led Windsor to four conference championships in soccer and the Sweet 16 in basketball as a freshman, sophomore and senior, and the semifinals as a junior. She has been coached by Mario Garcia (soccer), Jim Porth (basketball) and Bryan Horn (track). Outside of athletics, she was on Student Council and Government Project Citizen Champions, presenting to the Windsor town board with her team’s winning recycling project.

CLUB TEAM: 
Kingsbury played for Colorado Storm ECNL for six years and was the Storm player of the year for the U-15 team. She has also been named to the ECNL PDP camp and the ID 2 camp, while being selected as an ECNL player to watch. Kingsbury has been on two national-qualifying teams with the Storm and was coached by Cacho Cordoba.

PERSONAL: 
Chaynee Kingsbury was born on March 7, 2000, in Abilene, Texas, and is the daughter of Charlie and Lorissa Kingsbury. Her parents are ranchers and both rodeoed in college, and her father was a professional rodeo athlete. Her grandfather Johnny Edmondson was a college national rodeo champion and all of her grandparents competed in rodeo either professionally or at the college level. She has two younger brothers Cason and Creed, and two younger sisters Carty and Chaylis. In her free time, Kingsbury enjoys sports, friends and family, and she was a 10-year gymnast when she was younger. She has spent time raising money for families in need during Christmas, helping with special needs kids, and helped with senior citizen activities and dinners. She chose CU over Villanova because she loves her family and wanted to stay close to them, and she loves the atmosphere of the soccer program and the school.
