Biography

Career:
Played in 68 matches, starting 11 for the Crimson and Gold, seeing 2224 minutes of action…Tallied two assists from her defensive midfield/centerback positions.

2019:
Played in 14 matches, seeing 283 minutes of action… Played on a Denver defense that allowed just 11 shots on goal in league matches and finished the regular season fourth in the country in shots on goal allowed behind only Virginia, Stanford and Monmouth…Denver’s defense allowed just 42 shots on target in the regular season, half of the next closest team in the league.

2018:
Played in 18 matches, seeing 468 minutes in Jeff Hooker’s side…Earned an assist on the game-winner in Denver’s 1-0 win over Summit League newcomers North Dakota…Played for a Denver defense that kept 10 shutouts in 21 matches.

2017:
Played in 18 matches, starting three of them in Denver’s defense... Played on a back line that allowed just 106 shots on goal in 2017, the fewest shots on goal per game allowed in the Summit League…Played on a back-four that allowed the third-fewest goals in league play this season.

2016:
Played in 18 of Denver’s 19 matches, starting eight of them, seeing 844 minutes of action…Tallied an assist on Denver’s opener in the Pioneers’ 2-1 win over SIUE (Aug. 26).

Before Denver:
Has played in the back four for the U-20 El Salvador Women’s National Team… Scored six goals and tallied six assists from her defensive position in 2015 for her high school team…Captain of her 2016 club (CZ Elite) and high school programs…Four-year varsity player and in 2015 earned numerous awards, including Second-Team All-Mission League, Second Team All-Pasadena and First Team All-Glendale.

Born December 10, 1997 in Glendale, Calif...Daughter of Raul and Cindy...Only child...Chose Denver because she loved the coaching staff, the beautiful campus, the level of academics and the family atmosphere the program has…Also recruited by Loyola Marymount and UC Riverside…Intends to major in environmental science.
