Biography

Career:
Earned 76 appearances, starting 49 matches for the Crimson and Gold in her four-year career…Scored eight goals and tallied seven assists, including a game-winning tally in each of her final three seasons with Denver…Converted her only career penalty kick in 4348 minutes of action. Won two Summit League regular season titles and two Summit League Tournament titles in her career.

2018:
Played and started in all 21 matches, scoring three goals and adding four assists…Saw 1422 minutes of action in Denver’s 21 games…Scored the game-winning goal on Senior Day in Denver’s 3-0 win over Oral Roberts…Scored a goal and added a helper in Denver’s 3-1 win at Purdue Fort Wayne on Oct. 11…Also scored in Denver’s match at Florida Atlantic…Tallied an assist in Denver’s 4-0 Summit League Final win over Omaha.

2017:
Played in 20 of Denver’s 21 matches, seeing 752 minutes for the Pioneers…Scored three goals and added three-assists…Scored the extra time game-winner in Denver’s Colorado Cup win over Colorado State at Prentup Field (8/20)…Scored in the NCAA Tournament First Round at Colorado to open the scoring and give Denver the lead heading into halftime (11/12)…Scored in Denver’s 5-0 win over Western Illinois (10/22).

2016:
Played in 19 matches, starting 17 of them and playing 1346 minutes…Netted her first career goal on Denver’s opener in the Pioneers’ 2-1 win over SIUE (Aug. 26) and scored the game-winner in Denver’s victory over Omaha (Oct. 30) in both teams’ regular season finale…Took a team high 63 shots, putting 17 of them on goal.  

2015:
Made 16 appearances starting eight matches… Tallied an assist in Denver's shutout win at Nebraska-Omaha (Oct. 30)… Led the team with 29 shots.

Before Denver:
Played eight years of club soccer: Two with the U.S. Youth Soccer Academy (2009-10), one with the Grand Junction Fire (2010), one with Colorado West Select (2011) and one with the Utah Avalanche (2012)...Three-year letterwinner at Grand Junction High School...Selected to attend Young Olympics Camp (2009) and the Olympic Development Camp in Idaho in 2010...Scored the winning goal in the U-14 State Championship Game in 2010...Led her team to the third place output at the Far-West Regionals, finishing as the clubrs leading scorer...2011 U-16 State Cup Runner-Up MVP, and finished as Colorado West Selectrs leading scorer...Played in the 2012 ENCL National Tournament in Chicago, Ill...Three-time first team all-conference selection...Finished as the leaguers leading scorer in 2013, and scored the most goals of any 5A freshman in Colorado in 2012.

Born on Feb. 20, 1997 in Dayton, Ohio...Daughter of Jess and Debbie Swander...Has four older sisters, Chasity, Ashley, Kaelah and Jennah...Enjoys golf, basketball, skiing and drama (play acting)...Chose DU because she loves the coaching staff and the style of play...Also recruited by Colorado, Air Force, Oral Roberts, Dartmouth, Ohio State and UC Irvine.
