- Chose the University of Denver because of the school spirit around its athletics and because of the soccer team's culture, saying it was a very supportive and competitive environment that she was excited to be a part of
- Also enjoys the location of the DU campus being close to downtown but still outside of the city
- Brother played Division III golf
