Vanderbilt Eases Past Pioneers Women's Lacrosse

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Apr. 16) - Vanderbilt got goals from 13 different players as the 12th-ranked Commodores coasted to a 22-2 win over the visiting University of Denver on Sunday. Vanderbilt improved its record to 8-5 while the Pioneers drop to 2-10 on the season.

Sophomore Kinsey Osberg led the high-powered Commodore attack with two goals and four assists. 15 of the 16 players on the Vandy roster recorded at least one point on the afternoon. Junior Kim Bodick scored both Denver goals. The Commodores' Shanda Crabtree and Emily Lough combined to make nine saves in goal. The Pioneers' Sarah Hazard stopped 11 shots in a losing effort.

The Pioneers return to Denver for their first home game in nearly one month when they host Whittier (Calif.) on Friday. Game time at Pioneer Field is scheduled for 7 p.m.
