The University of Denver men's tennis team dropped its match to San Francisco, 4-1, Sunday (Feb. 3). The two teams played just singles and did not finish all six matches because USF had already secured the win. Denver falls to 2-2 on the season.
Senior Jay Patel (Ahmedabad, India) picked up Denver's lone win, defeating Mason Fuller, 6-1, 6-4.
The Pioneers will return to action Feb. 22-24 in Las Cruces, N.M. where Denver will take on New Mexico State, Illinois State and Arkansas-Little Rock over its three-day stay in New Mexico.
