The No. 45 University of Denver women's tennis team fell to Minnesota today at the Baseline Tennis Center, 6-1. The Pioneers suffered its first loss in four matches.
The Gophers won two of three doubles matches to earn the doubles point and won five of six singles matches to clinch the victory.
Jenny Trettin (Berlin, Germany) earned Denver's lone point with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Minnesota's Danielle Mousseau at No. 4 singles.
The Pioneers return to action tomorrow at the Baseline Tennis Center when they face Cincinnati at 3 p.m. MT.
