TUCSON, Ariz. - Strong doubles play and three singles wins lifted the No. 43 Denver Pioneers to a 4-3 win over Memphis in men's tennis action on March 9 in Tucson, Ariz. With the win, the Pioneers extended their winning streak to two matches and improved to 7-3 overall. Memphis falls to 3-8.

Adam Holmstrom (Eskilstuna, Sweden) and Niklas Persson (Stockholm, Sweden) improved to 9-1 with an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles. Nejc Smole (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and Ravjot Dhatt (Victoria, British Columbia) were victorious at No. 2, while Kalle Rosen (Helsingborg, Sweden) and Timo Kienle (Ludwigsburg, Germany) completed the doubles sweep at No. 3.

No. 19 Holmstrom improved to 9-1 in singles with a win at No. 1, while Smole (6-3) and Dhatt (2-5) claimed wins at No. 2 and No. 6 singles, respectively.

DU returns to action today against No. 75 Arizona.
