STILLWATER, Okla. - No. 61 Oklahoma State defeated Denver, 6-1, in women's tennis action on Friday in Stillwater. OSU improves to 5-2, while DU falls to 3-10 with its fourth straight loss.
Senior Ute Schnoy (Altenstadt, Germany) was a double-winner in defeat for the Pioneers. Schnoy beat Alisa Buslaieva 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1 singles and paired with Lorinda Boothman (Naples, Fla.) to beat Sarah Meghoufel and Malika Rose, 9-7, at No. 2 doubles.
The Pioneers play at Wichita State on March 7.
