PRINCETON, N.J. - The University of Denver women's tennis team suffered a 6-1 loss to Princeton Friday afternoon in an outdoor match at Lenz Tennis Center.
The No. 70 Tigers improved to 7-8, while Denver fell to 9-8.
Junior Sophia Bergner (Schechen, Germany) posted DU's lone point with an impressive 7-6(6), 6-4 win over No. 96 Hilary Bartlett at No. 1 singles.
Sophomore Caroline Schnell (Greenwood Village, Colo.) and junior Emma Isberg (Tyreso, Sweden) beat Monica Chow and Katherine Flanigan 8-4 at No. 3 doubles.
The Crimson and Gold will stay in New Jersey for a match against Rutgers on Sunday, April 1.
