NEW ORLEANS, La. - The University of Denver women's tennis team fell short of completing its weekend road sweep, falling to No. 58 Tulane 7-0, on Sunday at the Goldring Tennis Center.
The Green Wave (15-5) started the day strong, taking all three doubles matches before sweeping the singles competition.
Junior Steffi Rath (Hocust, Austria) sent her No. 5 singles match to a super tiebreaker, falling to Jenny Hois 5-7, 6-4, 10-6.
The Pioneers (11-9) will return home to take on Sacramento State on April 14 for their final regular season match-up before heading to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament beginning April 19.
