DENVER – The No. 20 University of Denver women’s gymnastics squad will say farewell to its five seniors on Saturday at its final home meet of the season, when it faces Boise State and Iowa State in Magness Arena. The meet is slated to begin at 6 p.m. Seniors Jorie Hall (Denver, Colo.), Moriah Martin (Lake Mary, Fla.), Kaitlin Moorhead (Palo Alto, Calif.), Melodie Pulgarin Linero (Barcelona, Cataluya, Spain) and Paige Tollefson (Longmont, Colo.) will be recognized for their success as Pioneers following the conclusion of the meet.

KUTCHER-RINEHART
Head coach Melissa Kutcher-Rinehart is in her 16th season at the helm of the University of Denver gymnastics program. Kutcher-Rinehart has led the Pioneers to a 280-137-2 overall record, highlighted by three trips to the NCAA Semifinals. Since Kutcher-Rinehart took over the reins of the program, she has led DU to 15 consecutive NCAA Regionals, including a No. 10 finish in 2007. Kutcher-Rinehart became Denver’s all-time winningest coach in program history, capping Dan Garcia’s 235 win (18 seasons).
EYES ON THE POLLS
•Denver comes into the weekend ranked No. 20 in the GymInfo polls, one spot up from last week.
•The Pioneers sit at 22 on vault and 19 on bars, with a 49.020 RQS on both events.
•Denver ranks No. 17 on beam and tied for 24 on floor, both with an RQS of 48.995.
•Senior Moriah Martin (Lake Mary, Fla.) is ranked 20th in the nation overall, averaging 39.279 in the all-around.
•Martin is tied for 28 on vault (9.883) and tied for 20 on bars (9.869).
•Junior Nina McGee (Cincinnati, Ohio) sits at No. 30 on floor with a 9.866 average.
•McGee is averaging 9.813 on beam, while ranking tied for 48th and tied for 52nd on bars (9.739).
SUPER SENIORS
In their four years, these five individuals have helped the Pioneers advance to three NCAA Regionals, and are in position to qualify for a fourth this April. They have accumulated a 62-27 overall record, recording only one loss in Hamilton Gymnasium over their four years.
LAST TIME OUT
•Denver tallied a 195.825 at No. 5 Georgia, posting the second highest floor score of the season (49.075).
•Freshman Leah Lomonte (Katy, Texas) earned a career-high 9.800 on floor to help Denver earn a 49.075 on the event.
•Martin and McGee brought in three 9.800’s or higher a piece to help the Pioneers tie their third highest score of the season.
SCOUTING BOISE STATE
•The No. 17 Broncos are coming off their best vault performance of the season, earning a 49.375 on the event.
•BSU posted the third highest score in program history with a 196.975 two weekends ago against Iowa.
•Boise State swept all the individual event titles, which was highlighted by Ciera Perkins 9.925 on floor.
•The Broncos are currently ranked No. 11 on bars and 15 on vault.
•The last time DU saw BSU was earlier this season at Boise State when BSU topped DU 195.150-194.825.
SCOUTING IOWA STATE
•The Cyclones earned their second highest team score of the season when they topped Iowa last weekend with a 195.925.
•ISU posted a season-high team score 196.025 on Feb. 7 against West Virginia.
•With a 49.150, Iowa State earned its second highest score on floor.
•Henrietta Green inked a career-high 9.900 on floor on senior night last week.
