The DU men's tennis tandem of Alex Gasson (Alton, United Kingdom) and Yannik James (St. Georges. Grenada) captured the Doubles Championship at the 2016 USTA/ITA Division I Mountain Regional on Sunday, defeating a team from Boise State 6-2 6-2 at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas, Nevada to emerge victorious from a highly-competitive Main Draw. By virtue of this victory, Team Gasson/James, ranked No. 42 nationally, has secured a berth at the ITA Indoor National Championship Tournament in Flushing, N.Y. next month.
