Feb. 12, 2016 Results
The University of Denver women's tennis team fell to the University of New Mexico 4-3 today at the Randy Briggs Tennis Dome in Albuquerque, N.M. This marks only the second loss for the Pioneers so far this season.
Sophomore Julia O'Loughlin (Highland Beach, Fla.), freshman Bianca Mok (Boise, Idaho) and senior Evy Van Genechten (Antwerp, Belgium) each picked up singles victories for the Pioneers today, while the pair of Mok and Morgan Barnhill (Austin, Texas) registered the lone doubles win for Denver in today's defeat after beating Ruth Copas and Andrea LeBlanc of New Mexico 6-2.
The Lady Pioneers will be back in action tomorrow on Sunday as they return home to host Drake University at 11:00am MT at the Colorado Athletic Club - Monaco.
