LOGAN, Utah - The No. 69 Denver Pioneers dominated the Utah State Aggies, 6-1, on Sunday at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club in Logan, Utah, making for a perfect 3-0 away weekend.

Today's action started with a convincing doubles point, where Denver's tandem of Julia O'Loughlin and Maureen Slattery, the No. 44-ranked tandem in the country, defeated juniors Nini Guensler and Ekaterina Tugarinova, 6-2, at the first position. Then, the senior leadership of Evy Van Genechten and Charlotte Derbyshire finalized things capping off a 6-3 win over juniors Lexi Turley and sophomore Sabrina Demerath, at the third position.

In singles, freshman phenom Bianca Mok defeated freshman Monika Van de Vondel, 6-3, 6-0, at the No. 3 spot to give DU a 2-0 lead. Julia O'Loughlin, the No. 62-ranked singles player in the country, defeated Guensler, 6-3, 6-3, at the No. 1 spot, while Slattery clinched the dual match for Denver with a 6-3, 7-5 win at the No. 2 spot against Tugarinova. Derbyshire increased DU's lead with a win in a tiebreaker against Lyall, 6-3, 5-7, 10-7, at the No. 4 spot. The final match of the day went to a tiebreaker, where junior Morgan Barhnill came from behind for a 4-6, 6-1, 10-2 win at the No. 6 spot.

With another incredible weekend in the books defeating Utah, BYU, and Utah State, the Lady Pioneers are now 7-1 on the season (with the only loss coming to the defending national champion Vanderbilt Commodores). Denver returns to action on Friday, Feb. 12, when it travels to Albuquerque, New Mexico to take on the Lobos.
