March 24, 2017 The DU women's tennis team captured its eighth victory of the season on Friday, earning a 4-3 win at the expense of the Dartmouth Big Green in a neutral side match in La Jolla, Calif.
Denver earned the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead on Friday, with No. 13 Team Slattery-O'Loughlin capturing a 6-4 win and Team Barnhill-Mok downing their opponents 6-2. No. 116 Maureen Slattery then earned a singles win for Denver, as did her fellow senior Sonja Radosevic and sophomore Bianca Mok, who battled back to earn a dramatic three-set W over Kristina Mathis after dropping the first set 0-6, in leading the Pioneers to victory.
