The No. 45-ranked DU women's tennis team captured its seventh consecutive victory on Friday, downing Oral Roberts by a score of 7-0 at CAC-Monaco. Denver is now 15-6 on the season, a record which includes a perfect 5-0 mark in Summit League play, and finishes its home schedule undefeated for the second year in a row at 7-0.
After the Pios won all three doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead on Friday, the proceedings were paused so as to pay tribute to Denver's three graduating student-athletes (Maureen Slattery, Morgan Barnhill & Sonja Radosevic), a highly-accomplished class which head coach Christian Thompson described as being "the best in program history". Following the brief ceremony honoring DU's seniors, the Pioneers proceeded to reel off six straight singles victories to take the decision by a 7-0 final.
