DENVER – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs will open the 2018-19 campaign on Saturday at 1 p.m. MT by hosting the 2018 Denver Relays. DU will be joined at its home venue by Wyoming's men's and women's programs, Colorado Mines' men's and women's programs and Western Colorado University's women's program.
Prior to the Denver Relays, the Pioneers will host their annual Alumni and Parent Team Awards Brunch in the Gottesfeld Room.
For the sixth-consecutive year, the Denver men's and women's programs were voted as preseason favorites by the league's head coaches to capture the Summit League crown. The Pioneers have swept the previous five Summit League Championships and have not lost a swimming event at the championships in the last two years (78-straight).

Scoring:
Two relays per team can score. Teams may enter more than two relays.
Scoring will be 18-14-12-10-8-6-4-2 (8 places score)
A Look Back at the 2017-18 Men's Season
Denver took 22
nd at the 2018 NCAA Championships, the program's top finish since 1962. The finish is the fifth-best since the program began in 1947. Denver's men started off strong with a 15
th-place finish in the 200 free relay to become the school's first All-America relay in its Division I history. The Pioneers improved on four school records during the 2018 Championships.
Anton Loncar picked up the other points at the championships for the Crimson and Gold, taking seventh in the 100 back and sixth in the 200 back.
A Look Back at the 2017-18 Women's Season
The Pioneers finished 31
st at the 2018 NCAA Championships led by All-America performances in the 200 IM and 400 IM from
Bailey Andison. Andison became the first women's swimmer in program history to earn All-America status in three different seasons. Both the men's and women's programs won their fifth-straight Summit League Championships, combining to win every swimming event at the championships for the second-consecutive year.

Annelyse Tullier, while the men will be led by
Graham Walker,
Kyle Ewoldt and
Hugo Sykes.
