The University of Denver Pioneers (5-3, 0-0) fell to Utah, 4-3, on Saturday at Utah.

Julia O'Loughlin and Bianca Mok earned the lone victories of the day for the Pioneers with O'Loughlin winning (3-6, 6-2, 6-4) at No. 1 singles and Mok winning (6-2, 6-2) at No. 2 singles. Hada Chang was leading her third set at No. 3 singles when the match was retired. Chang was credited with a victory.

On the doubles court, O'Loughlin and Mok's match was left unfinished.

The Pioneers are set to return to action from Feb. 23-25 at the Blue Gray Classic in Montgomery, Alabama.
