The Denver Pioneers (18-4, 4-0) advanced to the Summit League Championship with a 4-0 win against Western Illinois on Friday at the Gates Tennis Center in Denver, Colo.
The Pioneers will play South Dakota on Saturday, April 28 at 10 a.m at the Gates Tennis Center in Denver, Colo. The victory extended Denver's winning streak to 13 matches and marked the squad's 10th sweep of the season.
Denver opened the day with the doubles point, securing a 6-2 win from Camille Verden-Anderson and Bianca Mok at No. 3 and a 6-1 win from Hada Chang and Anna Riedmiller at No. 2.
The Pioneers' clinched the match with a trio of singles victories. Bianca Mok won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2, No. 57 Julia O'Loughlin secured a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 1 and Arisha Ladhani clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4.
Denver will play in the Summit League Championship for the fifth-consecutive season. The Pioneers have won the league title in each of the last four years.

The University of Denver is holding an alumni giving challenge for the 2017-2018 season in an effort to increase student-athlete alumni participation in the Denver Athletics Annual Fund.
