The Denver Pioneers (19-4, 5-0) won their fifth-consecutive Summit League title, defeating South Dakota, 4-0, on Saturday at the Gates Tennis Center in Denver, Colo.
The victory tied a conference record for consecutive titles and handed the Pioneers a berth in the NCAA tournament.
Denver opened the match with the doubles point as Bianca Mok and Camille Verden-Anderson defeated Habiba Aly and Luana Stanciu, 6-2, at No. 3 and Julia O'Loughlin and Gracia Mboko defeated Jana Lazarevic and Anastasia Bondarenko, 6-2, at No. 1.
On the singles courts, Bianca Mok earned a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 2, Anna Riedmiller secured a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 6 and Camille Verden-Anderson clinched the match with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 5.
Denver will learn of its opponent for the 2018 NCAA Tournament during the NCAA Selection Show on Tuesday, May 1 at 3 p.m. MT. The individual NCAA Selection Show is set for Wednesday, May 2 at 4 p.m. MT.
