SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Denver women's soccer team will begin the 2018 Summit League schedule on September 28 as preseason favorites, the league office announced on Monday in a vote of the conference's nine head coaches.

The Summit League's head coaches also selected a group of Players to Watch ahead of the 2018 campaign. Junior attacking midfielder
Hannah Adler (Oak Park, Calif.) and sophomore midfielder
Meg Halvorson (Englewood, Colo.) were named to the 14-player list.
The 2018 campaign marks the fifth time in the Pioneers six seasons in the league that Denver has been selected as preseason favorites.
