The Denver Pioneers women's tennis team went 7-3 in singles play and 3-0 in doubles play on Day 1 of the SDSU Invite, which features nine schools and nine draws. Denver advanced four singles players and three doubles pairs in the main draws of their respective brackets, while Hada Chang, Anna Riedmiller and Taylor Melville each responded from an early loss with a first-round win in the consolation bracket.
