DENVER – The No. 15 University of Denver women's lacrosse team is set to wrap up its five-game road swing at Colorado on Tuesday, March 26 at 4 p.m. MT. The Pioneers are 3-2 all-time against the Buffs, and look for their first road win since 2015.
The Crimson and Gold hold a 7-2 mark on the year, having dropped their last contest in overtime against Virginia Tech on Sunday, March 17. Denver is averaging 14.56 goals per game, 31.6 shots and 9.33 assists to rank No. 1 in the BIG EAST standings.
Quintin Hoch-Bullen leads the team with 26 goals and 52 shots this season,
Hannah Liddy and
Eliza Radochonski lead with 20 assists each and Radochonski has totaled 39 points. Junior
Carson Gregg ranks No. 2 in the NCAA with 7.18 goals-against average.
The Colorado Buffs enter the weekend 4-4 (3-1 Pac-12) on the year. They have totaled 94 goals, 21 assists, 268 shots and a .351 shot percentage in eight games, and currently rank No. 2 in the Pac-12 standings. Miranda Stinson leads the Buffs with 30 goals this season, also tallying a team-high eight assists and 38 points. Julia Lisella has seen 420-minutes in net for CU, accumulating 70 saves and a .493 save percentage.
After Tuesday's game, the Pioneers will return home to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium for the first time since Feb. 26, opening BIG EAST competition against Old Dominion on Saturday, March 30 at 2:30 p.m.
