DENVER – The No. 11 University of Denver women's lacrosse team will start its five-game stretch of road games against Fairfield on Friday, March 8 at 2 p.m. MT, then will head to Harvard on Sunday, March 10 at 10 a.m. MT. The Pioneers are 4-1 on the year, and will head to Connecticut after a nine-day break.
The Pioneers are led by sophomore
Bea Behrins who has tallied 13 goals in 21 shots this season,
Hannah Liddy leads with 19 points and
Carson Gregg has totaled 228-minutes in the goal for a .544 save percentage. Gregg also ranks No. 2 in the NCAA with 6.45 goals-against-average. The Crimson and Gold have totaled 103 shots on goal in their five games, and rank No. 10 in the nation with eight assists per game.
The Fairfield Stags are 4-2 on the year, most recently having defeated New Hampshire 14-11 on March 3. Taylor Mitchell leads the team with 16 goals on 32 shots this season, while Brooke Gallagher has come up big with 11 assists and 11 goals. Olivia Conquest has played all 360-minutes in net for the Stags, making 70 saves for a .483 save percentage. Fairfield also checks in at No. 3 in the NCAA with a .590 free position percentage.
Harvard is 3-2 in the 2019 campaign, last having defeated Boston University at home on Wednesday, March 6. The Crimson rank No. 11 in the NCAA with 12.75 turnovers per game and No. 5 with a 0.923 clearing percentage.
